about

Veterans of the East Anglia music scene, Goldblume continue in their goal to make music that was predominantly popular in their late-teens & early twenties, despite being much older. Often exhibiting a 'jack-of-all-trades' approach to genre, they've shown flashes of post-rock, grunge, college rock, math-rock, prog-rock, & indie-pop, in an effort to catch all of their influences at once.
Over the course of 7+ years, 2 EP's, and 1 album, they've grown into something decidedly cohesive, embracing the awkward fumbling that comes from a general disregard for musical homogeny. Simply put, Goldblume is not an act; when we smile, it's because we're having fun, when we're agitated, it's because we're pissed off and feel slighted, and when we're shy and quiet, it's because we feel anxious.
